Plane Jesus was born from a trance-like memory on a commercial shoot with THE Captain Jack where I participated as a actor — hours of dancing inside a plane set to “Hey Ho Captain Jack” made one other actor look uncannily divine. That surreal moment inspired an original psychedelic rock track, and when the Chroma competition came along, I knew the music had to drive the visuals. The result: a speculative ad for “Heavenly Fizz,” a fictional ginger ale endorsed by airborne messiahs.
